Paramount Garage Bluewater Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is the data controller for any personal information you provide through this website or in person at our garage. This page explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and your rights under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number, when you submit our enquiry form, call us or email us.
- Vehicle details: registration, make, model, mileage, when you book work or request a quote.
- Service records: work carried out, parts fitted, invoices, as required for consumer law and, where applicable, the MOT testing scheme.
- Website analytics: anonymised page view and device information, only if you accept analytics cookies.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry and quote, book and carry out work on your vehicle.
- To comply with legal obligations (MOT records, VAT and tax records, consumer rights).
- To improve the website, with your consent.
How long we keep it
Service records are kept for up to seven years to meet tax and consumer rights obligations. MOT records are held by the DVSA in line with the national MOT testing scheme. Enquiries that don't turn into bookings are kept for 12 months then deleted.
Sharing
We only share your information where we have to, for example, with the DVSA for MOT records, with HMRC for tax, with parts suppliers when ordering for your specific job, or with our email/website providers who process data on our behalf. We never sell your data.
Your rights
