Car air con loses about 10% of its refrigerant every year. If the blast from your vents is lukewarm, smells odd, or just doesn’t cool the cabin the way it used to, it’s almost always a regas that’s needed. We can have most vehicles back to icy-cold in under an hour.
Regas, leak testing, repair
We test the whole system, refrigerant pressure, compressor, condenser, evaporator, hoses and seals, and we’ll tell you honestly whether a regas will do the job or whether there’s a leak we need to fix first. A regas on a leaking system is money down the drain. We use the right refrigerant for your car (R134a or R1234yf) and modern recovery equipment that captures the old gas properly.
Bad smells and weak flow
A musty smell when you first turn the fan on is almost always the evaporator, with bacteria growing in condensation. We offer an antibacterial clean that clears it fast. Weak airflow is usually a clogged cabin filter, which we’ll replace while the car’s in.
